INTERNSHIP IN NUMISMATICS (m/f/d)

Full time - (ref. ST-09/CN3/2024)

Your missions:

Support the team in the BCL’s collection management by:
- Helping to acknowledge receipt of new incoming items and updating the listings;
- Providing support with the conduct of regular inventories and the check of the state of the items' preservation;
Assist with enhancing the content of the collection by:
- Helping to prospect the market to identify new items for acquisition;
- Preparing internal documentation for the Board;
Contribute to the financial estimation of the value of the collection;
Support in proposing, preparing and organizing exhibitions on dedicated themes;
Contribute to the project of the digitalization of BCL’s collection.

Your profile:

You are currently enrolled in Master’s studies in Numismatics;
You are passionate about coins and the numismatics;
You have an interest in Luxembourgish and European history and culture;
You have good organisational skills (priority management, meeting deadlines);
You are fluent in English, any other language is considered an asset;
You have excellent knowledge in all standard office applications (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
