The Banque centrale du Luxembourg (BCL), member of the Eurosystem, is currently seeking to recruit a(n):

COORDINATOR – ECONOMIST/LAW SPECIALIST (m/f/d) - career A1

Full time - (ref. 27/BDG3/2025)

Your mission:

You will be in charge of coordinating and contributing to the preparation of the Governor’s briefings for the ECB Governing and General Councils meetings, by collaborating with the various units of the BCL.

Your responsibilities:

You will be involved in a wide range of dossiers and you will:

  • Coordinate contributions prepared by the different units at the BCL, in a large variety of economic and policy dossiers at European, national and internal level;
  • Prepare and contribute to the briefing of the BCL’s Governor in his capacity of ECB Governing and General Councils member;
  • Prepare, coordinate and follow-up the ECB Governing and General Council written procedures;
  • Ensure effective communication as well as the quality and timeliness of the contribution provided by internal stakeholders;
  • Represent the Unit in internal meetings (working groups, task forces, …).
Your profile:
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Law or related fields;
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in Central Bank related matters;
  • Very good command of written and spoken English and also ideally French, knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of the standard office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills;
  • Strong team player;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Tact and diplomacy.
