IT SECURITY ARCHITECT (m/f/d) - career A1

Your mission:
Within the IT Security section, the Security Architect will ensure that the technical and technological choices made for IT projects and solutions comply with IT security requirements. You define security models and support the development of security architectures within the IT landscape, in line with the Bank's strategy, business needs, enterprise architecture and technological developments.
Your responsibilities:
- Definition and maintenance of security architecture norms, principles and standards, in collaboration with the IT security team and with the Bank's other architects (enterprise architect, IT architect, technical architects, solutions architects, data architect, …);
- Analysis of the IT architecture from a security standpoint, definition of the reference architecture and production of regular recommendations for the IT architecture evolution in line with security standards;
- Definition of the implementation roadmap for the reference security architecture;
- Active contribution to the choice of technologies and solutions from a security standpoint, in terms of evaluation, design and implementation, ensuring that they comply with security architecture standards and principles;
- Active participation in the enterprise architecture committee, to ensure compliance with the company's security architecture standards, and to develop them where necessary;
- Coordination of efforts to build and optimise the IT architecture from a security standpoint;
- Facilitate the transfer of knowledge, experience and best practices within the IT teams with regard to the security architecture, and promote the defined orientations, in collaboration with the other architects;
- Collaboration with internal business representatives, IT teams and project teams;
- Trend watch regarding IT security solutions, standards and best practices;
- Anticipation of security risks related to some technologies or solutions.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in IT, in engineering or an equivalent Master’s degree demonstrating 5 years of studies;
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, ideally in the fields of IT security or Security architecture;
- Fluent in English and French; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be a distinctive advantage;
- Experience as a cross-functional Security architect, including defining standards, making recommendations to optimise the IT architecture from a security standpoint, reviewing architecture designs and managing architecture evolution risks;
- Skills in IT architecture design (applications, infrastructure) and expertise with IT architecture documentation tools and techniques (e.g. mapping, data flow modeling, UML diagrams);
- Experience in the facilitation of working groups/communities of IT and business experts around security- and architecture-related topics;
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux), telecoms networks, databases and storage solutions;
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies and tools;
- Knowledge of business and application architectures;
- Ideally, knowledge of a central bank's activities;
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to synthesise;
- Good communication skills;
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, Kotusev);
- Certification and/or specialised training in enterprise architecture (optional).
