Participation in the development and implementation of the BCL’s Communication Plan
The Head of Communication department actively participates in the development of the BCL’s communication plan, manages its implementation, with a team of experts, which he leads and supervises. He oversees all of the Bank's internal and external communication initiatives; he coordinates and ensures the overall consistency of corporate communications.
Your missions:
- Participating in the development of the BCL's communication policy in collaboration with the Executive Board; overseeing the implementation of the Bank's communication policy, in line with its objectives and priorities; proposing and implementing a communication plan.
- Managing the Bank's external communications, in close collaboration with the Managing Director, who is its spokesperson, as well as internal communications, including social networks, media monitoring and institutional events; measuring the effectiveness of actions taken.
- Identifying communication issues and advising the Executive Board, contributing to the development of materials in line with the missions of a national central bank.
- Detecting, monitoring and analysing media trends to ensure proactive management of the Bank's communication and image (monitoring/social listening).
- Proposing and implementing crisis communications where necessary.
- Managing and uniting teams around a common objective.
- Participating in drawing up the Communication Department's budget and ensuring that it is respected.
Your profile:
- Education: Master's degree in Communications or equivalent.
- Experience: 10 years of experience in the field of communication, ideally with a central bank or in the financial sector.
- Skills :
- Expertise in communication management at strategic and operational levels (internal / external / digital / crisis communication, including events and social network management, etc.).
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- Perfect command of digital communication and social media tools (graphic and visual content creation tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite), performance analysis and monitoring tools, presentation tools, crisis management tools, etc.).
- Ideally knowledge of economic and monetary policy / the tasks of a national central bank.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive situations.
- Perfect command of French and English (written and spoken): Fluency in German and Luxembourgish is a real asset.
- Qualities: Leadership, dynamism, rigour, team spirit, ability to innovate and adapt to a complex and constantly changing environment.
