The Banque centrale du Luxembourg (BCL), member of the Eurosystem, is currently seeking to recruit a(n):

BANKING APPLICATION MANAGER (m/f/d) - career A1

Full time - (ref. 10/IT3/2025)

Your mission:

Within the Banking Operations Applications section of the IT department, you will be responsible for the coordination of the development and corrective maintenance of the applications for which you are dedicated to.

Your responsibilities:

• You will set up and manage the banking applications of the Bank while providing maintenance and second-level support;
• You will participate in drawing up functional and technical specifications related to technical applications;
• You will contribute to the processes and information system development in line with the defined strategy;
• You will ensure that the information system runs properly in exploitation;
• You will control external service providers regarding the development and maintenance of applications, in coordination with the business product owner and project teams;
• You will take part in projects in the field of applications and in various activities such as architecture definition, configuration, supplier management and technical and functional documentation;
• You will take part in technical and functional tests for users and in the on-call system;
• You will support end users in the documentation of business requirements and you will be in charge of the technical documentation of business and technical evolutions.

Your profile:

• You have a Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology;
• You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role;
• You have technical knowledge in the following areas
  • Banking Applications management (e.g. Olympic, Wallstreet Suite or similar)
  • Middleware X-Gen
  • Technical project coordination (DBA, infrastructure, systems, development, etc.)
  • ITIL processes and information security controls
  • Knowledge of SQL language and scripting (UNIX, LINUX, Windows)
• You are fluent in English and French; a good knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be an advantage;
• You are keen to learn and succeed;
• You show initiative and creativity;
• You are willing to perform, assertive and open-minded.
